Virgin Mobile is set to launch a new entry-level Android handset - the Samsung Galaxy 5. This new device is expected to launch on or around November 12th for free on Virgin's SuperTab or a 3 year contract, and features a 2.8" QVGA touch screen, a 600MHz processor, Wi-Fi, and GPS connectivity. Running on OS 2.1 Eclair at launch, this device also features a 2MP camera, and can carry a microSD card up to 16GB to hold your music, videos, and more. If you're looking to get an affordable Android device, the Samsung Galaxy 5 might be worth holding out for!
