telus has just launched a new LG handset, the entry-level Android powered LG Optimus 3G. The Optimus 3G is very similar to KOODO's Optimus One, and comes with a 3.2" (320x480) touchscreen display and 3.2MP camera. It features Wi-Fi (with hotspot) connectivity, in addition to bluetooth and GPS. The Optimus 3G on Android 2.2 Froyo, and comes with a 2GB microSD card, with memory expandable up to 32GB total.
The LG Optimus 3G is available now for free on a new 3 year term, but outright pricing comes in extremely high. If you're looking to pick up this handset contract-free, it will cost you $529.99.
