Just yesterday we let you know that LG and Rogers are partnering up to launch a 3D tablet - the LG Optimus Pad. It looks like the Rogers/LG partnership isn't ending there though, as word on the internet points to the launch of the Optimus 3D this coming fall.
The LG Optimus 3D has a 4.3" (480x800) 3D LCD touchscreen display, and two 5MP cameras capable of recording 1080p HD video, or 720p 3D video. This new 3D LG handset is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, and comes with 8GB of storage, along with bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS connectivity. It will also support HDMI-out, and will run either Android 2.2 Froyo or 2.3 Gingerbread at launch.
No word yet on an exact release date, though it is expected to launch for the back to school season. Pricing is also still unknown, but we'll be sure to let you know once we get more information!
