Bell recently launched the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE, and now Sasktel is advertising it on their site. Initially they had it labelled as “Coming soon”, however that label has now disappeared, indicating that it’s now available from the Saskatchewan carrier. Users will be able to benefit from the improved resolution, processor and overall enhancements over the standard Galaxy S II, however LTE connectivity won’t be coming until this fall.

The S II HD LTE features a 4.65” (720 x 1280) Super AMOLED touch screen display with Gorilla Glass. It’s powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM, and comes with 16 GB of storage. Currently, the S II HD LTE runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, though an Ice Cream Sandwich update is expected in the coming weeks. Other notable features include its 8 MP camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, along with a secondary 2 MP camera.

If you’re in the market for a new Android handset and can’t wait for the Galaxy S III, be sure to check out the Galaxy S II HD LTE from Sasktel. It is available now for $129.99 on a 3 year term, or $569.99 monthly.
