We just let you know that Mobilicity was getting set to launch the HTC Panache, which is known otherwise as the HTC Glacier/myTouch 4G. An Android Gingerbread ROM was recently leaked that was filled with Videotron-related items, even having the popular Quebec carrier in the file name, indicating a near-future launch from them as well. No word yet on exactly when the Glacier will be released, or at what price, but we'll be sure to keep you updated. It's definitely great to see smaller carriers launching high-end Android devices. Keep them coming, Videotron!
The HTC Glacier features Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.8" (480x800) display, and is pwoered by a 1GHz processor and 768MB of RAM. It comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p recording capabilities, and supports bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.
