A while back we let you know that telus was going to release the Samsung Fascinate 4G, and they have finally come forward with an official release date. This new Galaxy S device will launch on telus on Thursday, May 12th. No word on pricing as of yet, but we'll be sure to let you know once more information is made available.
The Samsung Fascinate 4G runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, and features a 4" (480x800) Super AMOLED touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass. It has a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, and is powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. Connectivity options also remain consistent with current Galaxy S handsets, including Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS. The main improvement in this device is the addition of "4G", offering maximum download speeds of 21Mbps.
