Windows Phone 7 has been generating a lot of news lately, with exclusive launched being reported all over the place. The latest information released shows that the LG Optimus 7 will be exclusively launched by telus later this month, more than likely around the $200 mark on a 3 year contract. The Optimus 7 features a 3.8" (800x480) touch screen, 1 GHz processor, and a 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities. To top it off, it comes with 16GB of internal storage built in, along with full connectivity options including bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, and of course 3G bands.
While no confirmation has been received as of yet regarding the Canadian launch date and pricing, this new Windows Phone 7 device is launching in the U.S. on October 21st for $199 on a 2 year contract, so if past trends continue, we'll likely see the same launch date and pricing, except on a 3 year term instead.
