Rogers launches BlackBerry 9300 for $79.99 on 3 year term, $399.99 contract-free

Rogers has officially launched the BlackBerry Curve 9300, with pricing of $79.99 on a 3 year term, or $399.99 outright. The 9300 is very similar to the 8520, but offers connectivity over Rogers' 3G network, providing faster data speeds. It features an optical trackpad for navigation, a 2.4" (320x240) display, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 3.15 MP camera. At roughly $80 on a 3 year term, we're suggesting you opt for the Bold 9700 at only $20 more. If you're looking to purchase the device contract-free, the new Curve 9300 might be a good choice, since it's outright pricing of $399 is the lowest of any current BlackBerry from Rogers, but beware, as of now it doesn't seem like this device is going to get RIM's upcoming OS, BlackBerry 6.
