Along with the price plan and add-on announcements today, Mobilicity also released details on their handset line-up, as well as preliminary coverage area.
The new Canadian carrier will be offering 8 devices at launch, including the BlackBerry Bold 9700 for $499, Nokia 5230 for $169, HTC Snap for $199, and a range of more affordable devices from manufacturers such as Sony Ericsson and Huawei. Mobilicity will only offer devices free of contracts, similar to the way WIND Mobile operates.
To start with, Mobilicity is launched their network in the Greater Toronto Area exclusively, however they plan on expanding to cities such as Edmonton, Calgary, and Ottawa in the future.
